As I sit here on my golden thrown on Mount Olympus; I'm looking down on Odysseus as he sails upon the island of the Cyclopes. I wonder about the many choices that he will make while here. "Ah" here we are, there is Odysseus now. I see Odysseus and his men with some wine as they approach the cave, noticing that the cyclopes is not there. His men suggest that they take the cheeses and hide them, come back and let the cyclopes' animals free and make a run for it, but as I can see Odysseus refuses."How dare they plunder on my nephew's land. If my brother Poseidon knew about this he would be extremely angry. "If I were him I wouldn't want to be caught by the cyclops. Here comes the Cyclops now. He drops what he's carrying and closes the cave with a slab of rock. Odysseus and his men are trapped in the cave. "Odysseus and his men deserve this for what they are doing." After the Cyclops is done working and doing his chores he puts the fire out. "Oh no" the Cyclops has seen Odysseus and his men. He's asking them who they are and where are they from. But what is this, Odysseus is lying. He's saying he is from Troy. " How dare he lie to my nephew." Then the Cyclopes answers back, and ..."oh I see how it is nephew you don't like me, you're not scared of me." The Cyclops has taken two of Odysseus ' men and....." ohh... no... ewww..." He has beat them and crushed them, and now is about to eat them. Odysseus and his men are crying out and raising their hands to me. Later on Odysseus has prayed something to my daughter Athena. "Maybe Athena will be more willing to help Odysseus then I am." As the evening comes upon us the Cyclops finishes up his chores and then sits down and grabs two more of Odysseus's men and eats them. Then Odysseus offers the Cyclops some wine. He drinks it and asks for more, drinks it and asks for more, drinks it and asks for more. Now the Cyclops is somewhat drunk. Odysseus tells him yet another lie. He says that his name is Nohbdy. "I think I know why he is lying to him." Now what is this? It seems that Odysseus is about to put something in the Cyclops' eye. Oh I can't watch him harm my nephew like this. I need to call upon Poseidon." He has poked the Cyclops one and only eye out. He's twisting it, and leaning on it, and blood ran out. The Cyclops yelled out in pain. "I can't imagine what pain he feels." I see he has woken the other Cyclopes. They go to see what he is yelling about. "Haha this is funny." When the other Cyclopes ask him "what is wrong," "what man has tricked him,"" what man has ruined him?" the Cyclops says that Nohbdy has tricked him, Nohbdy has ruined him. Basically saying that nobody has done anything to him, because "Nohbdy" sounds like "nobody". The other Cyclopes think that I have caused him pain. In the morning I see that Odysseus is getting ready to put his plan into action. He ties him and his men to the Cyclops rams and they run out. They untie theirselves and run for the ship. But next. He is making a huge mistake. Yelling out to the Cyclops. So he knows where he is at. Although he has no eye, he has ears. He then makes another huge mistake. He tells the Cyclops his real name and where he's really from. But fortunately for Odysseus and his men they got away. This has been an interesting journey." Now it is my brother's turn to get revenge on Odysseus and his men for what they did to my nephew!" I see rough waters in Odysseus' future.
